2011 Echoing Green Class of Fellows

The twenty-two visionaries in the 2011 Echoing Green Class of Fellows are ready to push forward social change.  Solving the world’s most difficult problems requires an ecosystem of support—imaginative leadership, bold ideas, and a vast network of resources.

The 2011 Fellows Challenge is an opportunity for you to triple your impact and strengthen the ecosystem. The Pershing Square Foundation, committed to providing strategic support to entrepreneurial leaders, has challenged Echoing Green to raise $150,000 by June 30th—which they will match two dollars for every dollar given, for a total of $450,000.

The Pershing Square Foundation supports social entrepreneurs with innovative ideas who demonstrate the means to accelerate social change for the most disadvantaged communities in the US and globally. Focus areas include poverty alleviation, education, health, social justice, the arts and social enterprise. They have invested in Echoing Green for four years, and helped us to champion our Fellows working in fields ranging from domestic education to global health and economic development. Today, they have challenged the Echoing Green network to match the boldness of our newest class of Echoing Green Fellows.
