BP's new cap, left, finally worked in sealing the leaking well, right, in the Gulf of Mexico. Video of the top of the new cap confirms that the well has been capped. Pressure tests also indicate that oil is not leaking out of the pipe into surrounding ocean bottom.Hooray. Let us pray that the cap continues to work. BP will continue to drill the two relief wells in order to permanently cement the well pipe.
