Many Questions Remain For Proposed 3rd Reactor
On May 13, 2011, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, as a cooperating agency, issued NUREG-1936, “Environmental Impact Statement for the Combined License (COL) for Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant Unit 3: Final Report” (FEIS).
The FEIS is publicly available for review and is available through the NRC website. The FEIS is also available for public inspection at the NRC Public Document Room (PDR), located at One White Flint North, 11555 Rockville Pike (First Floor), Rockville, Maryland 20852, or at the Calvert Library, Prince Fredrick and Sothern Branch locations. The FEIS is also available from the NRC’s Agencywide Documents Access Management system (ADAMS), which is accessible from the NRC website Reading Room. The FEIS is under the accession numbers ML11129A167 and ML11124A179.
