Natural Gas Futures prices ended 2013 at $4.23 per million Btus. Although the price at the beginning of the year was $3.23, by April the prices rose to $4.39. Thereafter the price fluctuated more or less around the $4 mark for the remainder of the year.
Cushing, Oklahoma Oil Futures prices ended 2013 at $98.42 per barrel. The price at the beginning of the year was $93.12. The lowest prices were in April at under $87 while the high prices were in late August at about $110.
